PBS Campus Experience 
at Nassau Community College

All sessions meet on the campus of Nassau Community College. Room number TBD.

Free parking is available on campus.

Semester runs September 12th to December 21st.
Wednesday Morning Session:  9 am to 10 am

​Friday Morning Session:  9 am to 10 am

​REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS.
STUDENTS MUST ATTEND WITH THEIR OWN NECESSARY SUPPORTS.

Description:
​PBS Adult Education classes are taught using various instructional methods tailored to the specific needs of adult learners. Students will be encouraged to develop critical thinking, research and study skills, and utilize technology for learning and collaboration. All students inherently benefit from being engaged in an active college environment.

The Campus Experience is designed for young adults interested in gaining new skills on an exciting and vibrant college campus.   This semester there are 2 course offerings.

Campus Experience Registration Process

NOTE - Registration for PBS classes at NCC is a two step process. 

Step 1.
Fill Out PBS Online Registration Form 
​Instructions for payment methods are included as part of the online form below.

Tuition for each course is $350.00.


Upon receipt of the course registration confirmation from PBS, please proceed to Step 2.

Also, there is a separate registration fee of $150 per student for the semester, payable to Nassau Community College.

This fee allows students to register for the college, giving them open access to the Library and the Food Court, in addition to lectures, performances, and/or sporting events that are open to the general public.

Please print the NCC Registration Form and mail completed registration form directly to NCC with check.

For course information, please fill in as follows:
  • leave the CED#  blank. 
  • Under section, please write your class time (9:00am)
  • Please include Course title
  • Include, "Instructor: Robin Black"
  • Under "Day", please write appropriate day.


* PBS is not responsible for payments to or reimbursements for the NCC registration.  Please submit separate Expense Form directly to your Fiscal Intermediary.

Students do not have to be Nassau County residents to enroll.  Each student must attend with their own necessary supports.  Self-directed students with reimbursement questions should contact their Broker and Fiscal Intermediary.
