Dr. Magito McLaughlin is the founder and President of PBS Consulting. She is a NYS licensed Clinical Psychologist and a NYS licensed Behavior Analyst who has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for over 35 years. She received a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Adelphi University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Stony Brook University under the mentorship of Dr. Ted Carr. Dr. Magito McLaughlin's research and clinical interests include functional communication, person centered planning, setting events, broad systems change, and longitudinal intervention approaches. She has co-authored a number of publications including several book chapters and empirical papers, and has spoken nationally and internationally on behavioral support issues. Dr. Magito McLaughlin has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Dowling and Farmingdale Colleges.  See Vitae.

Kaarin Anderson Ryan

Dr. Anderson Ryan is the co-founder of PBS Consulting and has been working for over 25 years to support people with a variety of needs. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the states of Michigan and New York and is also a Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst.  She received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Stony Brook University under the mentorship  of Dr. Ted Carr. Dr. Anderson Ryan’s research and clinical interests include friendship development and social inclusion, positive behavior support, person centered planning, and lifestyle change. She enjoys conducting workshops and training seminars for caregivers and professionals to help with social and behavioral supports.  She has co-authored several publications, including a research monograph synthesizing ten years of literature on positive behavior support.  ​

James Sanborn

Mr. Sanborn is the Senior Clinical Director of Transition Services at PBS Consulting. He is a NYS licensed Behavior Analyst and received his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Adelphi University. Mr. Sanborn has over 25 years of experience providing services for individuals with special needs on Long Island, and has worked as an administrator, behavior specialist, job coach, and direct support staff. He has been with PBS since 2003 and his special interests include person-centered planning and designing individualized programs in the community to enhance social and vocational experiences. Mr. Sanborn has also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education at Queen’s College.

Ms. O’Halloran is the Senior Clinical Director of School Age Services at PBS Consulting. She is a NYS licensed Behavior Analyst. She received both a Master’s Degree in Clinical Behavioral Applications and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Queens College. Ms. O’Halloran has worked in the field for over 25 years. She has been with PBS since 2007. Her clinical interests include successful inclusion of students with differing abilities, and effective training for teachers, assistants, and aides. Ms. O’Halloran has presented numerous workshops and trainings for school districts and at teacher centers in the New York area and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Touro College.

Patricia Tomanelli

Patricia Tomanelli is the Director of Operations at PBS Consulting & Psychological Resources, where she has worked with students with Autism and Developmental Disabilities since 2006.  She received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling, a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. Ms. Tomanelli has been active in the field for thirty five years. Her clinical interests include family support, person centered planning, sex education and transition planning for high school students with highly challenging needs. Ms. Tomanelli is affiliated with the New York Mental Health Counselors Association, Western Suffolk Counselors Association, the African American Counselors Association, and the Association of Sexuality Educators and Therapists.

Mr. Innis is the Director of Professional Development at PBS Consulting. He is a NYS licensed Behavior Analyst and received his Masters Degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University under the mentorship of Dr. Ted Carr. He has been providing behavioral services to individuals with disabilities for more than 25 years and has been with PBS since 2009. He has co-authored a number of articles and book chapters and given numerous presentations and trainings to service providers, school personnel, parents, and community groups on a variety of positive behavior support topics. Mr. Innis’ clinical interests include functional routines, broad systems change, improved quality of life for older individuals with support needs and lifetime learning opportunities for all. He is active in the NYS self-direction service delivery model and serves on the board of Positive Community Connections.

Nancy Langdon

Dr. Nancy Langdon is a NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at PBS Consulting. Dr. Langdon is Testing Supervisor, conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing Autism Specialty Reports. She also provides oversight for complex cases. Dr. Langdon received her undergraduate training at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and held a clinical and research position on an inpatient hospital unit for children with developmental disabilities who demonstrate the most severe forms of self-injury and aggression. She pursued her graduate studies at Stony Brook University, where she served as a Testing Supervisor during her tenure. Dr. Langdon’s research interests include functional behavior assessment and assessment of  precursor behavior.

Carlene Fallica

​Ms. Fallica is the Clinical Director of East End Services at PBS Consulting. She is a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst who has been working in the field of developmental disabilities for over 15 years. She received her Masters degree and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Applied Behavior Analysis from Long Island University. She is a certified ADHD professional. Previously, she assumed various roles including Project Director of Family Behavior Support Program, Behavior Intervention Specialist and Psychology Coordinator at Developmental Disabilities Institute. In addition, she has presented at the New York State Association of Day Service Providers Conference, and served as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University.
