internship opportunitiesWe provide clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to professionals and paraprofessionals who are faced with severe challenging behavior. These services include ongoing support, training, and feedback to help develop positive and effective solutions for the challenging behaviors.

adult continuing educationAffinity Classes for Lifelong Learners! To have an affinity is to like someone or something because of shared characteristics. Our students come together to learn about subjects they are passionate about and that will not change at all. We have fantastic classes and fantastic instructors, and we will also adding new topics and opportunities for learning. Affinity classes are now part of Positive Behavior Academy and PBA is developing many more classes, fun activities, and valuable resources. Our Adult Continuing Education classes provide inclusion opportunities at local colleges, where Self-Directed learners can become a part of the college community. Students interact with same-age, typical peers during the course of the school day, in the context of lunch, learning, special interest groups, events, athletics, and/or internships. Educational experiences focus on practical and functional skills of everyday living such as Budgeting & Finance and Self Advocacy. Additionally, students may explore new interests in a variety of topics such as Art Appreciation, World Cultures, Disability in Film or the Evolution of Hip Hop. New classes are added each semester. |
