Have you ever wondered what it is like to write or direct a play? How about performing in a streamed-online production? This class is for you!
Students will learn the fundamentals of being a playwright, develop their writing skills, and embrace their theatrical mind as we work together to write a one-act play. Students will then rehearse as we prepare to perform our one-act play virtually through Zoom. Theatre and the arts continue to bring us together, even while we are learning from home.
Join us for an incredible learning experience where we will allow our creative minds to grow!

Courtney Braun is thrilled to be teaching PBS Adult Continuing Education classes. At graduate of Stony Brook University with a degree in Psychology, Courtney loves being able to explore the campus and the community of Stony Brook with others. She has been accepted to the School of Social Work and will be returning to SBU as a student as well. Courtney has a passion for the arts, traveling, food and all things Disney! We hope you consider joining us this semester. It is going to be wonderful!
