Have you ever wanted to travel the world? Do you have a dream vacation? Do you have a love for traveling? Well, we have the class for you! Join us for A Virtual Tour of The World and fall in love with hidden treasures and landmarks across the globe! Students will research different locations across the world and their most popular and interesting tourism hotspots. We will cover the "must do" for seasoned travelers as well as the unknown local secrets for each “destination”. Students will learn a brief history of the locations explore their most known cuisines as well as how to properly plan and budget a trip to each “destination”. With copious resources provided to us during the COVID-19 crisis, virtually traveling the world has never been easier (and more affordable!). Join us for what is going to be an incredible class filled with memories and treasures to last a lifetime.
Courtney Braun is thrilled to be joining PBS for another remote learning class! Courtney has quite a few destinations that she wishes to visit, the top being Scotland! Some of her favorite international trips have included Ireland, London, and Paris. Courtney also loves to tour Orlando, Florida, more specifically Walt Disney World. Courtney has a love for cooking and local cuisine, labeling herself as a "foodie." Courtney's passion for history and travel comes from her Great-Grandfather who showed her at a young age what the world has to offer through his filmed trips across the globe. Courtney also has a strong passion for photography and the performing arts. She looks forward to seeing familiar faces old and new as we tour the world together this Summer!
