Students will learn the basic history of Alexander Hamilton and access readings from "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow, the text that inspired Manuel Miranda to create the stage play. Students will learn about Lin Manuel Miranda and his creative process of creating the rap-based musical. Students will also learn about the history behind each production of Hamilton, from Broadway to the touring companies, London’s West End, and most recently, Puerto Rico.
