Whatever your vision of Japan, this course will expand your knowledge of this country of more that 125 million people! Within a short train ride, one can see ancient temples with monks in statue-like contemplation, to breathtaking landscapes and bustling metropolises. You will see it all as this course will celebrate the diversity of this island country, sometimes called “The Land of the Rising Sun”. We will also explore the history and culture of Japan, with a focus on varying ancient and contemporary ancient aspects of Japanese culture, such as like flower arranging, tea ceremony, origami, hibachi, and more!
