Annabel Whalen has worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in animal hospitals alongside many veterinarians and has met a variety of furry friends in this work. She is currently taking classes that will result in her being a Licensed Vet Tech. She is passionate about animals and volunteers at animal shelters and has cared for several stray and vulnerable animals (including a baby squirrel). She has also worked with therapy horses. Annabel is also an artist and she creates and sells art to generate interest in and collect donations for conservation efforts. She believes in a powerful connection between humans and animals and is very excited to educate thoughtful minds to bring awareness to nature’s treasures and how we can all do our part to protect them.
