Have you ever fancied going to the dark side? Do you like to root for the underdog or the bad guy? Well, here is your chance to come and visit some of Disney’s infamous Villains. This course will cover Disney villains, past and present. The course will cover Scar, Cruella de Vil, Ursula, Maleficent, Jafar, Gaston, Facilier, and more! Students will research and discuss the criminal background of each Disney villain from both films and literature. We will answer questions such as:
  • What does it mean to be evil?
  • What makes each villain unique?
  • What put them on the path to evil?
  • Do they deserve a second chance?

Students will share their thoughts on whether or not each villain was truly evil or just misunderstood. Students will be asked to share their own creativity in discussing the life before each character became a villain, and what it might look like for each villain to make a comeback!
