Fall 2018 Campus Experience
All sessions meet in The Wang Center
on the campus of Stony Brook University Paid parking available in adjacent garage. Free parking available on certain lots on campus. Semester runs September 12 to December 21. Morning Session: 10 am to 11:30 am Afternoon Session: 1pm to 2:30 pm Late afternoon Session: 3 pm to 4:30 pm REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS. Classes are subject to a minimum number of students and may be cancelled if not met. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND WITH THEIR OWN NECESSARY SUPPORTS. |

Description:
PBS Adult Education classes are taught using various instructional methods tailored to the specific needs of adult learners. Students will be encouraged to develop critical thinking, research and study skills, and utilize technology for learning and collaboration. All students inherently benefit from being engaged in an active college environment.
The Campus Experience is designed for young adults interested in gaining new skills on an exciting and vibrant college campus.
This semester there are 6 course offerings:
Monday mornings: Social Media - Getting Connected and Staying Safe - Class Flyer
Monday afternoons: Intro to Creative Writing - Class Flyer
