Spring 2019 Adult Continuing Ed
All sessions meet in The Wang Center
on the campus of Stony Brook University Paid parking available in adjacent garage. Free parking available on certain lots on campus. Semester runs January 28 to June 7 Early Morning Session: 8:30 to 10am Morning Session: 10 am to 11:30 am Afternoon Session: 1pm to 2:30 pm Late afternoon Session: 3 pm to 4:30 pm REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS. Classes are subject to a minimum number of students and may be cancelled if not met. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND WITH THEIR OWN NECESSARY SUPPORTS. |

Description:
PBS Adult Continuing Education classes are taught using various instructional methods tailored to the specific needs of adult learners. Students will be encouraged to develop critical thinking, research and study skills, and utilize technology for learning and collaboration. All students inherently benefit from being engaged in an active college environment.

Mondays, 10-11:30 AM: Self-Advocacy
Mondays, 1-2:30 PM: Intro to Acting (Class is full. New registrations will be waitlisted.)
Mondays, 3 - 4:30PM: Overview of Musical Theater
Wednesdays, 8:30-10 AM: Total Communication
Wednesdays, 10:30 AM-12:00 PM: The Complete History of Disney (Class is full. New registrations will be waitlisted.)
Wednesdays, 1-2:30 PM: Establishing Healthy Social Connections 1st time in Suffolk!
Wednesdays, 3 - 4:30 PM: Everything But Acting
Fridays, 10-11:30 AM: The Evolution of Hip Hop II
Fridays, 1-2:30 PM: The History of Rock N' Roll (Class is full. New registrations will be waitlisted.)
